What applications are most often used by users?

Increasingly, users are returning to old proven applications.

This information was clarified in a study conducted by the general partner of the venture capital fund Kleiner Perkins Caulfield & Byers Eric Feng. The basis considered data App Charts and research firm App Appie. The study revealed that users prefer to install proven and already known programs. New, with advanced features, people are simply not interested.

According to Eric Feng, users more often install applications that have been known on the market for more than 5 years than those programs that became available less than 2 years ago. This situation is observed in all types of mobile services, except for gaming.

According to information from Feng on the App Store, more than 2 million applications are available for download. Due to the oversaturation of the market of offers, the likelihood that the program will fall into the "TOP-30" and remain in leading positions is very much reduced.

In the ranking, the top lines standardly divide among themselves social networks launched in the very first days of the App Store: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram.

However, Eric Feng urges developers of new services not to despair. Any application finds its audience. And you can earn money with a small number of users, it is only important to accurately guess their needs, and according to them to work out the functionality of the program.

You can understand that the application is popular with the public, in a simple way - to conduct a study of the loyalty of the target audience. These processes are performed by contact centers on outsourcing conditions. Also among their services is another useful option - the definition of user satisfaction. It will help developers to understand how satisfied customers are with the new application, its functions, to determine the needs of Central Asia for carrying out improvements or the release of updates.
